This is definitely in the top five of my favorite cakes so far! It was so much fun to make all the different animals and really see the farm come to life. Everything on the cake is completely edible...the animals are made out of fondant and the barn is made out of gumpaste. The bottom tier is french vanilla cake with chocolate ganache filling. The top tier is dark chocolate cake also with chocolate ganache filling. Both tiers are covered with fondant. In the background is the one year old birthday boy's "smash cake". It's vanilla cake with buttercream filling also covered with buttercream with fondant cow print cut outs and animals.
